Exciting news
We have received our final payment from the Co-op Local Community Fund. We have been given a whopping £3,274.07.
We cant thank those of you who nominated us as their chosen cause enough. It means that we have a significant contribution towards our plan to lay artificial grass in part of our garden so that the children can play outside regardless of the effects of the weather. This year has shown us how important out door play is and how an all weather surface is crucial to this.
Sarah is busy getting quotes so we can start the project as soon as is possible.
Thank you to the Co-op Local Community Fund for helping you all to make such a difference.
Welcome to SVPS
We welcome children from 2 years old to school age. We will give your child the opportunity to make friends, play and learn in a safe and stimulating environment, supported by highly trained well qualified staff.
We provide an environment which ensures that each child has the chance to develop the skills that support their growing independence and maturity, and when they are ready we have an excellent transition into local schools, which helps ease the move to formal education.
We have been a well established and respected part of the local community for over 20 years. We were rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in our last inspection (May 2018).
There are Funded places for 3 and 4 year olds and for qualifying 2 year olds, get in touch for details.
New
- 30 hours extended free educational funding for qualifying children. (See Places for more information).
- Breakfast club from 8am & late finish to 4pm.

New committee members wanted – Could you spare a few hours?
We are looking for new members to assist with the running of the committee.
We meet once a half term, currently on a Wednesday evening for a couple of hours.
No experience is needed just an ability to get on with people and an ability to muck in and get on.
It is a great opportunity to use existing business, employment or management skills or to develop completely new skills for a future CV, plus you make an appreciable difference to a vibrant local provision. This is a volunteer role and is unpaid.
If you would like more information please take a look at the Committee page or would just like to talk to someone about the role, please contact Anne Fellows on 01142349970 or email at SVPS@mail.com.
