We pride ourselves on having a highly qualified staff. All staff working in pre-school have;
- a recognised Early Years qualification or are working towards one.
- undertake a range of continuous professional development training each year to ensure we retain and extend our skills.
- are DBS checked prior to starting work at Stannington Village Pre-School.
- undertake paediatric first aid training every three years as required by the EYFS.
- undertake mandatory safeguarding training.
- safeguarding lead & deputy undertake advanced training as required by the local authority safeguarding board.
- undertake food hygiene training.
